I was born and
raised in East London, but my father was inherently a countryman and from him,
I learned to love everything about the wildlife and landscape of the English
countryside. My career demanded that I worked mainly in London and other big cities, but at the end of every day, I leapt on the first train that would take me back to my countryside home in Oxfordshire.
In Millenium year, my husband and I decided to take early retirement, moving down to Devon. We found our ultimate home here in Luppitt in 2007. Luppitt is a small community with an incredibly big heart. The community spirit never ceases to amaze me. Added to that, the sheer beauty of the environment, which I witnessed with awe the first day I came to view the house which is now our home, makes me feel very lucky to be a part of it.
